Project Description

A complex and modular Space Game. Starts in Terran Centre where training begins. Key Features are that the player participates in his own adventure but can employ Avatars or other players as crew members for example. In this way a player can operate as a loner or as part of a specialised team.

Avatars

Avatars can be spawned from a real players skill base inheriting their skill attributes. avatars cannot improve but they may die. When a player spawns an Avatar, they themselves must revert to base level and qualify again

Scenarios

The game universe encompasses the real known universe. Players must complete tasks to advance within the the game i.e. acquire wealth. However, they can do this in a variety of styles so that individuals can play in their favourite styles

  • FPS: full on first person combat
  • Sim: a builder developing an empire (like Settlers)
  • Admin: a planetary administrator coordinating producers as in Orion
  • Strat: Strategist - trying to combine strategic elements of chess with practical development
  • Trader: simple trading as in Elite
  • Pirate: unregulated thief and marauder; converse is Bounty Hunter

These scenarios can all be running simultaneously
